At UTSA, I teach upper-division undergraduate courses on borderlands, immigration, and Mexican Americans, as well as lower-division undergraduate courses on the history of the United States and Texas. I also offer graduate reading seminars in the history of Latinas/os, Spanish Borderlands, and Race in the United States. At the University of Iowa and California State University, Long Beach, I offered upper-division undergraduate courses on the history of the American West, Latinas/os, U.S.-Mexico Border, as well as introductory courses on Latina/o Studies, California History, Ethnic Groups in Urban America, Latinas/os and Popular Culture, and Chicana/o Labor History.
